My dedication

And so.
After many mornings, afternoons and evenings spent on thinking i should create a blog, I finally managed to find the courage and the strength to start one.

Oh, I have had one previously (blogs.warwick.ac.uk/aasra), but alas, my fear of losing the initial blogging drive — much like the fear of breaking my new year’s resolution (one of which is to write this blog!) — came true and I stopped.

But my recent move to Singapore created a new, and stronger, reason to create another one. It’s not for my personal record, nor for me to share and discuss my views on the world. True, those are good reasons.

But they are the by-products.
The main aim: to keep in touch with the people I love and care for.

For my family in Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria, United Kingdom.
For my friends I made in Australia, Indonesia, Philippines, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, on the plane, at an airport, in the doctor’s waiting room.

And for future family & friends.

I am not the best person when it comes to keeping in touch. True, I send sporadic group emails but they are just not the same as a regular update as if we were still meeting each other regularly like before.

And so.
I hope this time I can keep my promises to you to keep in touch.
All my love.
